Mocha Ice Cream

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp expresso powder
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  1. Sift sugar, expresso powder and cocoa into a bowl

  2. Slowly whisk in milk till the sugar is dissolved

  3. place bowl in freezer till liquid is under 36 degrees Fahrenheit (measure temperature at least every 10 minutes)

  4. remove from freezer, whisk heavy cream and vanilla to the mix

  5. Use mix with your ice cream maker following vendor instructions
